Founder


Lele Nairne is a Paris 2024 Olympian and five-time British Champion who began judo at eight years old in the South West.

After progressing from grassroots judo to the highest level of international competition, Lele created Mushin to make the sport more accessible to children and build stronger connections between schools, athletes and local judo opportunities.

Through school coaching, athlete visits and The Mushin School Judo Challenge, Lele aims to help young people develop confidence, discipline, resilience and belief in what they can achieve.

Our School Judo Coaches

Our weekly school programmes are delivered by experienced judo coaches who create safe, positive and engaging sessions for children of different ages and abilities.

Lessons combine movement, games, partner activities and structured judo development to help children build confidence and progress over time.
